Absolute Poker is a rather new actor among the other well established poker websites. It definitely has a unique look-and-feel and their software is not skinned or run on partner sites. This also applies to their website which contains comprehensive information such as how-to-play guides and more. A good initiative is that the information also is available in Spanish which should attract many players.
Further, I get the impression that Absolute Poker is trying to compensate for their “young age” by having good promotions, bonuses and offers to the players.
To mention something about the competition you will face when playing at Absolute Poker; I’ll say that there are a lot of beginners. Stupid bluffs are not uncommon even when playing the more serious tournaments for real money. It might just have been a coincidence that I encountered this during my late hours of poker playing, please see for your self and let me know!

Absolute Poker game play and graphics
The software graphics is good looking but it contains a bit too many details in my opinion. Take the floor for example, it’s patterned and distracts you when playing long sessions.
A nice feature is the personalized picture which gives you an identity at the table. I believe that many players will find the user interface attractive because of its uniqueness but others might feel a little distracted and uncomfortable.
